This is more of a question than an observation. Now I know it’s a generalization, but every woman I know, regardless of age (and that’s a lot), except for about a half a dozen, has difficulty backing up a car. I don’t mean just pulling out, I mean backing down a path, a slight hill, in a parking lot; anytime you go past just pulling out, they tighten up. My wife, sister, the young ladies I worked with, all the women in my wife’s various clubs; they’re all horrified to back up a car. Its so bad for my wife, she would walk home in the snow before backing the car down a path or a hill or a lot.
Now I could understand if it was a Ford F300 or Dodge Ram or a boat trailer was attached, but I’m talking compacts to medsize. Its so bad, that when my wife has her club meetings at our house (yeah, like today), I have to back up and park everyone’s vehicle. Had a few husbands get out their shotguns cause the ladies back up across their flower beds.
I’m not being a smart butt on this one, I just what to understand. There’s got to be a reason. Any inputs are appreciated.

As a Florida girl with a jet ski and boats, I can say I can back up a truck or car with a boat trailer better than any guy I know. HA!
There you go with those generalizations again, Big Mike (I sense another post topic here…)
I learned to drive in a 1968 4WD Suburban with 3 seats. I learned how to back up by waiting until I felt the rear bumper hit something and then stopping.
Obviously, this method would not work with any vehicle smaller than a tank, so I did have to learn how to do it properly, and can now back up any car or truck using only the side mirrors.
So double HA!
I could tell both of you were tomboys when you grew up and could out do any guy. Its in your face Mindy, and I know ya, Candi. But I sense you’re anomalies, not the norm. For example, you know how most guys wouldn’t ask for directions, right? My wife gets mad because I stop every few miles and update my directions (I don’t trust one navigator when I’m in a strange area). Now, you don’t think that’s the norm, do ya?

I still think this post should have been about butts…
I do have a future post prepared, Candi, about butts that is, and the way we men approach them differently then women. You’ll like that one, seeing your a butt person to, like me (g).

Candace, that’s what I thought too. Talk about bait and switch!
