After anxiously biting our nails for a few weeks, we finally got word from our great publisher, Ellen, that Champagne Books has accepted Veil of Deception for publication. The release date will be January 1, 2010.
According to Ellen, “the reading team RAVED about this book“. Guess it turned out pretty good, after all!
Now Big Mike and I are beginning to think about a new story line for our next collaboration. I told Big Mike that this one had to take place in Arizona, since VoD is set in his home state of Virginia. I guess the ball is in my court now. I’m leaning toward a plot line that revolves around the issues which are part of being so close to the Mexico border. We’ll keep you posted as to what we decide on.

Thanks GG. It was really interesting the way our individual talents blended together. The experience of writing was more fun too. Know how you feel isolated sometimes when you lock yourself away in a backroom to create a story. It was neat to share scenes and ideas as the characters and stories evolved they’re own lives. There were a few bumps, but we worked them out together.
